Maureen Thomas died on St George's day 2007, after bravely fighting back from the brink of
death numerous times. She showed courage, strength and dignity that I can only hope to have; even
when told in ITU that she was about to die she stayed strong for all her family who stayed with her
to the end.
Maureen leaves behind a husband, Graham. Sons Graham & David, daughters Karen, Dawn & Debbie
and grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
Maureen was my mum's sister and I have fond memories of summers spent at her house or crazy
weekends when both families would stay together in one house.
Maureen was brought up in Darnall, Sheffield and lived on the Manor, Sheffield, Stannington and
Tinsley. She worked at Batchelors and her biggest joy was being surrounded by her children and
grandchildren.

its my birthday and i miss you so much it still hurts just as much as it did when you passed away . youwould be so proud as we are due to have another grandson on the 9th november baby jack mum please keep a watch over our mark when baby jck is due . just as i know you would have been their as soon as he is born as you cherish all your children and grand and great grand childer the same love you always karen

Two years have now past and I think of you each day with love . The pain eases a little on the outside but inside the void is still as big. Remembering your lovely smile gets me through the days.
